UNIT MASONRY | Penn State Schuylkill
Nestled in the foothills of Pennsylvania's anthracite region, the renovated Student Community Center at Penn State Schuylkill offers sweeping views across campus. The project added nearly 5,000 square feet for student activities, improved dining, and recreation. Alvin H. Butz managed construction under the direction of Spillman Farmer Architects and the Eshbach Brothers, L.P. team completed the unit masonry scope during the summer of 2018.
An architectural treasure that long stood neglected in downtown Allentown, developers sought to restore the Dime Bank Building as part of the new arena complex in 2013. However, the upper stories of the tower had deteriorated beyond repair. The Eshbach Brothers, L.P. team was tasked with the unique challenge of restoring masonry ornamentation of the grand lobby while replicating intricate art deco designs that could not be salvaged on the upper floors.

CAULKING & SEALANTS  |  Société d’Honneur
To commemorate the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends to Lafayette College, the Board of Trustees founded the Société d’Honneur in 1986. The College expanded the monument to donors during the 2018 summer semester and the skilled stonemasons from Eshbach Brothers, L.P. set granite radius walls along difficultly sloped terrain. Expert caulkers also worked within tight tolerances to install perfectly aligned brass lettering along the curved walls.
AIR & VAPOR BARRIERS | Climate Controlled Facility
With four seasons and rapid temperature changes, the Pennsylvania climate proves challenging for manufacturing organizations that require strict environmental conditions for production. The Eshbach Brothers, L.P. team worked diligently with Construction Managers to install an effective air & vapor barrier within the cavity wall of a new industrial facility in the Greater Reading area. This craftsmanship ensures the regional economy remains strong.
